Returns & Exchanges

We accept returns within 45 days of purchase. Final sale items are not eligible for return or exchange. 

We only accept returns/exchanges from purchases made through www.outdoorvoices.com. Product must be unworn, undamaged, and unwashed with the original tags attached along with proof of purchase. Each return is handled individually and at the discretion of our team, including determining whether an item is unworn and/or unwashed. 

We only allow even exchanges for the same item in a different color or size. If you’re returning your gear for a refund, refunds will only be applied to the original form of payment. 

Please note, we charge a $6 return shipping fee that will be deducted from your return when processed. Even exchanges are free! 

Any potential fraud or abuse of this policy, including excessive or unreasonable returns, may result in the rejection of future transactions or returns. 

For orders shipped to Canada, we charge a $25 flat fee that will be deducted from your return when processed. Any duties and taxes paid will not be refunded. Exchanges are not permitted for orders shipped to Canada. 

We are committed to creating technical apparel that lasts. If your product fails to perform — or is damaged due to a material or manufacturing error — we’ll work with you to find a solution. Our warranty only covers purchases made through www.outdoorvoices.com or at one of our previous Outdoor Voices shop locations. All warranty solutions are at the discretion of our team — we pledge to keep you Doing Things.

To start a Return or Exchange for an order placed through our site, jog on over to returns.outdoorvoices.com and enter your order number along with the shipping zip code or the email used at checkout. From there, you can select which items you’re sending back and print a return label. 

Please note, we charge a $6 return shipping fee that will be deducted from your return when processed. Exchanges are free! 

For exchanges, you can try a new color / size in the same style as the item you're selecting to send back. To note: This is based on available inventory. 

Your exchange order will be placed once your return has been marked as 'In Transit' by the carrier. Make sure to drop your return off ASAP so your exchange order doesn't go out of stock! 

Any order returned from Canada will be charged a $25 return shipping fee that will be deducted from your return when processed. Any duties and taxes paid will not be refunded. Exchanges are not permitted for orders shipped to Canada.

To guarantee you receive your correct refund, we ask that you send your orders back separately. Our warehouse is only able to refund the online return that matches the corresponding tracking information provided by the returns system.

To kickstart your gift return or exchange, go to returns.outdoorvoices.com and click through the "Start gift return here" link underneath the "Start a return" box.

Final sale items are not eligible for return or exchange. Items marked as final sale will be noted in red, indicated above "Add to Bag."

Your return is making moves! From start to finish-line, please give your refund/exchange 7-14 days to get back to you. 

Return travel may take up to 5 business days + 3-4 days for processing. Once we have your items checked in, we'll send the refund to your preferred refund method. 

Exchange orders are placed once your return has been marked as 'In Transit' by the carrier.

Ordering & Shipping

Our team processes orders very quickly so before purchasing, please make sure to triple check your order is correct and ready to cross that finish line.

We will do our best to lend a hand with last minute changes or cancellations before your OV starts making moves but please note, we cannot guarantee any outcomes of these requests after the order has been placed.

We typically ask for 2-3 business days for our team to pack and ship your full order. During promotional or holiday periods, your order will ship within 7 business days.

As we focus on building OV, we are currently only shipping within the US and Canada. To learn more about shipping to Canada, check out more info here. We are aiming to open international shipping locations in the future. We hope to be Doing Things with you soon!

After logging into your account, click "Orders," found in the menu on the left-hand side of the screen. Here you can view a summary of your online orders, including order number, item(s) purchased, and tracking information.

We ask for 1-3 business days for our team to pack and ship your full order. During promotional or holiday periods, all orders are fulfilled and shipped within 7 business days. All shipping fees are non-refundable. 

For orders shipping to the U.S.:

Standard Shipping

  • $5 at checkout, free for orders over $100
  • Orders will be delivered within 3-6 business days by either FedEx or USPS, depending on the shipping address

2-Day Shipping

  • $20 at checkout
  • Orders will be delivered within 2 business days after being picked up by the carrier

Overnight Shipping

  • $30 at checkout
  • Orders will be delivered within 1 business day after being picked up by the carrier

For orders shipping to Canada:

Standard Shipping

  • $25 at checkout
  • Once your order is in the hands of the shipping carrier, it should arrive within 5-10 business days

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and Diners Club debit and credit cards. 

Online orders can also be placed via Apple Pay, ShopPay, Afterpay, and PayPal Express Checkout. Please keep in mind that PayPal enforces a 60-day refund window.

We don't store payment information, so we won't be able to add or remove any items from your order. Jog over to outdoorvoices.com to purchase that additional item separately or head to returns.outdoorvoices.com to process a return. So sorry to share the bummer news!

Product Questions

We recommend keeping things cool — wash on cold and hang dry, or use a low heat setting in the dryer. This will keep the stretchy fibers and shape of the garment intact, while reducing your energy use. Good for your gear (and the earth).
Go to the product you're looking for on our website and click on the color you want. Then scroll down on the size you're looking to snag and off to the right, you will see "Join The Waitlist." From there, you enter your e-mail address to be notified when more rolls in. Just a heads up, if "Sold Out" is listed we won't be restocking that item.
Not at all! New name, same product you know and love. If you type in the old product name within the “search” bar, you will automatically be redirected to the same product with the new name. You are also able to see what a style was previously named in the “details” section on the product page.

Discounts & Promotions

Have a discount? Awesome! You can add it to your order when moving through checkout. There will be a box on the right-hand side of the screen above your order's subtotal labeled "Gift card or discount code". Enter the code and your total will reflect the new amount. 

Our website allows one discount code per order. If you have multiple discounts, save one for your next order or send it to a friend. Doing Things is better together. 

Discount codes are only applicable to "discountable" items. Exclusions include Kits, gift cards, third party merchandise (Merrell, Salt & Stone, etc.), and other indicated items.

Trouble with discount codes is typically caused by expiration dates or what's in your shopping cart. Double check if the code you received has any restrictions, such as a price hurdle or expiration date. Discount codes are also only applicable to "discountable" items. Exclusions apply, including but not limited to: Gift Cards, OV Kits, third party merchandise (Merrell, Salt & Stone, etc.), and charitable merchandise. Other exclusions may apply.

Yes! We’re all about “moving your body to free your mind," aka using activity to relieve stress, spark new ideas, and spend time with classmates. OV is proud to offer 15% off to active students at US or Canadian Universities. Our discount is available to currently enrolled university students with a valid .edu or .ca email address or active student ID.

Absolutely! As part of our Fitness Instructor Discount Program, you'll receive 25% off your OV purchases, (excluding third party merchandise and gift cards). You bet! OV is proud to offer 15% off OV purchases to active Healthcare/Teacher/Military workers. When you are checking out does your email change from your .edu email to a different email? If so, this is why the discount is disappearing. To take advantage of those savings, click "Checkout as Guest" at the bottom of the page. This will allow you to re-add your .edu email and use the 15% discount. If this isn't happening, make sure to type OVUniversity in the grey box at checkout.

Unfortunately, you can only receive the birthday discount if you’re subscribed to emails or text messages and have your birthday listed on your account.

We're currently unable to include gift receipts, but it's a functionality we're working to add down the track. Prices aren't listed on our current packing slips and there won't be any prices displayed on the products. 

The packing slip included will have all the information your giftee could need to make moves on a swift exchange or return for store credit— including our email! We're always happy to help.

Manufacturing & Sustainability

Currently, we manufacture in the U.S., Vietnam, Taiwan, Turkey, and Sri Lanka. To select our stateside and overseas partners, we prioritize quality, compliance to worker's safety, fair wages and benefits, as well as dedication to minimizing environmental impacts (things like water waste and air emissions).

Before we craft a single pair of leggings, our partners agree to abide by our vendor code of conduct. On par with industry leaders in sustainability and social compliance, we support places where employees are safe, paid fairly, given benefits, and work regulated hours. 

Our team visits each factory and mill in-person a few times a year. Start to finish, we aim for OV to have a positive impact on the people and resources that bring our gear to life.

We work with specialists around the globe to develop high quality, made-to-sweat-in textiles. While activewear has a track record for being tough to produce and recycle, we are passionate about finding ways to manufacture our materials and styles more sustainably. 

We love our lightweight RecPoly (recycled polyester) fabric, which is crafted from post-consumer water bottles that are melted down and turned into fibers. For our Merino gear, we partner with Global Merino — leaders in sourcing sustainably raised wool, bluesign® certified — who can trace their fibers back to the sheep they came from. Our Seamless collection also works to decrease waste, as these styles are knitted as a tube rather than cut and sewn together, meaning no scraps. Plus, they are made in a factory that is Fair Trade Certified. Our RecMesh collection is our first-ever mesh material made from recycled water bottles. 

We are particularly excited about our lineup of fleeces as well: MegaFleece is partially recycled and made with wool that is milled in a family-owned mill in Prato, Italy that has been spinning top quality fibers for more than 60 years. PrimoFleece is made with 100% recycled polyester and has a DWR performance finish. Lastly, be on the lookout for RecFleece, made with 100% recycled materials,  coming later this year. 

We firmly believe in protecting our playground and will always continue to innovate and create more sustainable gear as we grow and learn!

We incentivize employees to use public transit, bike shares, and avidly recycle. When it comes to product, we aim to plan our assortment just-right so we don't create excess products or waste. Plus, our gear is designed to last. A longer lifespan keeps OV in your gym bag and out of landfills.

Each email exists as an individual account in our systems. Right now, there is no way to update an old account with a new email and keep a record of historical orders. We truly do apologize for any inconvenience this causes.
Unfortunately, at this time, you can't change your email on your account. To use a different email, create a new account.
Once logged into your account, click "Settings," found in the menu on the left-hand side of the screen. Continue scrolling down the page until you find the "Password" section. Here you can update your password.

You can update your email preferences as well as unsubscribe here.

No sweat. Fill out this form, and your name will be added to our suppression file. Please be advised that it is possible that you may receive at least one more mailing from us as the mail pieces may already be in process. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
